Your tasks

• Conceptualizing and writing persuasive scientific proposals, reports, and related communication
• Continuous scouting for third party funding opportunities, awards, and prizes plus self-initiated composition of strong nomination letters
• Handling of project-related tasks with minimal supervision, including, but not limited to:
  • Hands-on financial management across all pioneer groups
  • Independent handling of all reporting duties
  • Key liaison for efficient coordination with funding agencies & Helmholtz Munich’s administration
• Support of the Pioneer Campus’ communication activities

Your profile

• Broad scientific background in the life sciences
• At least 2 years proven success in conceptualizing and writing winning scientific grant applications
• Experience in composing compelling reports and related communication
• Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken) with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Reliable and results-oriented multi-tasker that independently manages and prioritizes a variety of tasks
• Self-motivated individual with strong teamwork and networking skills

If you fulfil all the requirements, you may be eligible for a salary grade of up to E 13. Social benefits are based on the Collective Wage Agreement for Public-Sector Employees (TVöD). The position has an (initial) fixed term of two years but may be extended under certain circumstances.
