The “Neuroimmunology of Ageing” group is devoted to exploring the intricate and dynamic interplay between microglia - the resident immune cells of the central nervous system -and neurons, with a particular focus on how this interaction is altered in the setting of neurodegenerative disease.
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow with a PhD (or near completion) in neuroscience, immunology, molecular or cellular biology, or a related field. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, bringing critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset to the group.

The employment contract is based on the TVöD-Bund (collective agreement for the public service) and will initially run for three years, with a possibility for extension after this period.
