At the IDM)Institute of Diabetes Research and Metabolic Diseases ( and the German Centre for Diabetes Research (DZD e.V.), we are looking for a Postdoc (f/m/x) who works on human brain and heart development with unique biomagnetic measurements (fetal magnetoencephalography) and the influence of metabolic maternal factors.
In addition, the person is involved in the ongoing multicenter study on the effects of gestational diabetes on maternal and childhood metabolic and cognitive development. The work will take place in the group Metabolic Neuroimaging (Head: Prof. Dr Hubert Preissl). Our institute is located at the University of Tübingen, which is one of Germany's Universities of Excellence, and provides an interdisciplinary and international environment. The workplace is Tübingen.

Your profile
If you fulfill all the requirements, you may be eligible for a salary grade of up to E 13. Social benefits are based on the Collective Wage Agreement for Public-Sector Employees (TVöD). The position has an (initial) fixed term of 2 years but may be extended under certain circumstances.
